Meet the Producers
Writer & Director
Morgan is a writer-director whose work bridges fiction and non-fiction to explore introspection, community dynamics, and resilience. His films have premiered at notable venues, including the Smithsonian and BlackStar Film Festival, and have received critical acclaim and distribution on platforms such as Xfinity. Morgan’s commitment to storytelling and community building has been recognized by residencies, grants, and programs across the Islamic Scholarship Fund, SFFILM Rainin Foundation, Pillars Artist Fellowship, and more.
Co-Executive Producer
Aïdah is a multi-disciplinary artist, filmmaker, and educator with over 20 years of experience in managing multimedia projects across world-renowned institutions on three continents. Her work centers on preserving marginalized histories and fostering connection through storytelling. She holds an MFA from California College of the Arts and has worked extensively in arts education and cultural & historical preservation.
Co-Executive Producer
Rashad is a former journalist-turned screenwriter and producer with a focus on telling stories about young Muslims and other underrepresented groups surviving in the American South. An Alumni of Mohammad Schools of Atlanta and recipient of the Producers Guild of America Power of Diversity Fellowship, he's worked as a production manager on multiple TV shows including OWN TV's "Rebuilding Black Wall Street", hosted by Morris Chestnut.
Producer
Love is a Haitian American storyweaver and visual archivist whose work is centered around the cultural preservation of Melanated & Indigenous communities. Through producing, directing, and archiving she explores themes of communal healing, culture, human behavior, ancestral wisdom, spirituality & earth based connection.
Impact Strategy Producer
Neia is an Ethiopian American storyteller passionate about building partnerships and programming that connect diverse audiences to educational and socially impactful resources. As a thought leader Neia is committed to championing social change through community engagement efforts, raising awareness of cultural topics, and fostering dialogue and action within the filmmaking process.
Impact Strategy Intern
Malika is a budding historian and photographer specializing in Afrofuturism and African-American Muslim culture. Trained in Anthropology, she aims to celebrate the legacy of pioneering African-American Muslims by disseminating their stories and cementing their narrative in academia and artistic spaces.
