Clara's Fruit: An Interactive Archive

This interactive archive maps the voices and experiences of alumni and former staff from Clara Muhammad Schools and the University of Islam nationwide. Through oral histories, written testimonies, and archival materials, we are preserving the legacy of a transformative educational movement that redefined Black self-determination and faith-based learning in America.

This is an ongoing oral history project, made possible in part through a grant our team received from the Black Teachers Archive, based at the Gutman Library at Harvard Graduate School of Education. As the project continues to grow, we welcome community leaders, scholars, students, educators, alumni, and members of the general public who are interested in helping us expand and deepen this work.
